THE UNIQUE IMPACT OF ABACUS ON CHILDREN

Abacus is our primary memory program utilize to develop cognitive skills in children and has been a proven method for thousands of years by the highest functioning societies throughout the world’s history.

Our Goal is to stimulate the right and left brain hemispheres by the training children to visualize the abacus beads while solving various arithmetic problems. This exercise will enhance their brain and strength many skills and abilities: retention, confidence, interest in learning and imagination and visualization.

The impact of Abacus on children can seen impossible until you see a child that has went through the training with your own eyes. Children learn to perform difficult mental calculation at speeds faster than a calculator, and we want to share this incredible learning experiences with our students !

Abacus is a Latin word originating from the Greek words abax or abakon, which means table or tablet. It is an ancient method popularized by Chinese, Japanese, and Korean people to improve their math skills. Primarily used by moving beads attached to rods to solve arithmetic equations, the purpose is to teach its learners visual calculation. In time, students will not need to rely on their hands for solutions; instead, they will answer through visualization.

Abacus is one of the fastest ways of calculating and learning math. Students will learn to calculate faster than a calculator and acquire advanced, relevant math techniques.

Our goal is to enhance both the right and left brain hemispheres through the abacus lessons we provide, as it will strengthen various skills and abilities: photographic memory, attention and concentration, confidence, interest in learning, and imagination and visualization.
